Vocal Coach - Charlie Fights
Charlie is widely recognised as the frontwoman of The Shimmer Tones, a premier luxury function band.
Her powerhouse vocals have graced prestigious stages across the UK, from the Orchard Theatre in Dartford to national tours of "Bond by Candlelight." In 2024, she further expanded her profile as a contestant on Britain’s Got Talent, showcasing her versatility as a world-class entertainer.
Community Leadership & Coaching
Deeply committed to nurturing local talent, Charlie has been our vocal coach for young people since 2022.
Through her work with GYG, she empowers the next generation of performers by building their technical skill and stage confidence.
Additionally, she leads the One Voice Choir in Gravesend, fostering a vibrant community space for adult singers of all abilities.
Vocal Coach - Thomas Jay
Thomas Jay is a London-born, Kent-raised singer-songwriter and live events specialist with a reputation for vocal excellence and industry expertise.
After earning a degree in Commercial Music, Thomas quickly established himself on the UK circuit, performing at iconic venues such as the O2 Academy Islington and The Bedford, and appearing on The Voice UK. His performance credits include SoulTown, Black Deer, and Sofar Sounds London.
As a songwriter, Thomas’s reach extends across the UK and Europe. His solo releases have earned "Record of the Week" honors from BBC Introducing and placement on Spotify’s Fresh Finds UK & Ireland.
Beyond the stage, he is a seasoned events professional who has contributed to major productions including Glastonbury, The Great Escape.
Notably, Thomas curated and produced a stage at Black Deer Festival for three consecutive years, bridging the gap between creative performance and high-level event production.
Musician - Dan Johnson
Daniel Johnson is a professional musician and vocal coach who supports children and young people to engage creatively with music, develop technical skills and build confidence through singing and performance.
He brings a strong commitment to inclusive practice and positive youth development.
A trained pianist and experienced vocalist, Daniel has achieved Grade 8 Piano Performance and has extensive experience performing and supporting others in a range of live, studio and community settings.
His practice is rooted in collaboration, encouragement and helping young people to find their voice.
As part of the coaching team, Daniel works with young people aged 6–21, creating safe, supportive environments that promote creative expression, wellbeing and progression in music.
