Woodlands Park Fun Day

Woodlands Park Fun day

On Friday 7th August, we hosted our second fun day at Woodlands Park. The day was successful with over 1,000 young people attending the event. Throughout the day, there was plenty of different activities for the young people to take part in; these included football, basketball, zorbing, open mic and open mic stage plus a DJ. There was also many local organisations including the Kent fire brigade and Kent police who were giving talks to all of the young people. The young people also got to experience what it’s like inside an emergency services vehicle as well as having the opportunity to ask questions. During the event, we also promoted the services and sessions we offer here at the Grand.

“We had an amazing time at the Woodlands park fun day, it was a fantastic event that the whole family enjoyed! There was something for everyone to take part in and it was organised very well. The staff were really helpful and friendly. I really hope there are more fun days in the future” Anon
