About us:

On May 13th 2014, a group of men who had never met, some who had not stepped onto a football pitch in years, came along to a football training session here at Stonebridge Road. (Organised by The Grand with help from Guru Nanak Gravesend FC & Ebbsfleet United).

With funding from KCC Health Inequalities a project was set up around getting men in the local community off the couch & onto the pitch!

Using the buzz of the upcoming World Cup, we went football mad to get men up and active. The project story made local & national news, Rav Marwaha & Amit Hayer holding interviews with KMFM, BBC Radio Kent & ITV News!

Over the past few months – 43 sessions, 86 hours, 37 Men, numerous training drills, formation work, shooting work, passing and movement work, we have survived and got  to today.

The project has progressed from regular training to growing into a Saturday League side, and will be competing in  the Rochester & District League in the upcoming season. Training session will however remain the same; anyone looking to get fit but not take part in the league side will be more than welcome.
