GYG Prop Design

GYG Prop Design

From Harry Potter style wands to real-looking gravestones (eek) our workshops teach young people everything from different paint techniques to model-making, using a range of different materials.

Our workshop leader Amy West is a professional prop-maker and artist, who specialises in scenic effects theatre, festivals, film and TV. She has worked with Glastonbury, The Lord Mayor’s Show, London Dungeons and Emergency Exit Arts.

The group will create props and scenery for the annual GYG event in November at The Woodville Theatre and have a field trip to London theatre scene, with aim to go backstage to see how the professionals do it.
